Mikles’ Opinion
The following dialysis facilities show some examples of the lack of infection control practices which place patients in a potentially compromised situation to acquire a deadly infection (note: these were selected via alphabetical order, not by provider) For more surveys – click on (left side of page) ‘newly added surveys 2020’
Is it not shocking to know that these staff are, according to providers, are educated and trained?
Is it not shocking to know that these facilities had Registered Nurses in charge of the facility that are suppose to ensure correct practices are implemented?
Is it not shocking to know that even though the facility had their own policies and procedures in place that these incorrect practices, potential and/or actual mistakes occurred?
Patients need to be educated in order to ensure staff are implementing correct practices. It is the patient’s life!!!
